THE DESIGNER'S GOLDFINGER (TDG) is a fashion and entertainment marketing corporation founded in New York City in 1980. The company is dedicated to providing its clients with a sustained high level of quality services. While in New York City, TDG represented designers and marketed their apparel to boutiques and department stores as well as through mail order. TDG moved from New York to Los Angeles, California in 1982, and then to Washington, D.C. in February 1985.

Since relocating to Washington, D.C., TDG continues to actively promote and book models, designers, singers, make-up artists, hairstylists and photographers for fashion shows, informal showings, promotions, photo sessions and fashion layouts. A modeling school and fashion design apprenticeship component is envisioned. The company has produced and coordinated numerous fashion shows for private and social organizations. TDG's fashion concept is expressive, innovative, and unique. Its production is colorful fashion shows in dramatic story forms which unfold with fashion. The focus is on the creative use of the runway, where the whole stage is utilized and the audience is drawn into the TDG story, and takes the captivating journey with TDG.

The company possesses proven capabilities in successfully delivering professional services to its selective clients. THE DESIGNER'S GOLDFINGER offers complete fashion services including avant-garde models, cutting edge make-up artists and hairstylists, work-in-progress designers who are continually evolving, leading fashion stylists and coordinators, defunk choreography, intriguing commentary and gratifying fashion theme concept. The client's only job is to relax and witness with the audience a unique concept in fashion production. TDG gives all clients a competitive edge to mobilize the necessary forces that ALWAYS make that QUALITY difference. THE DESIGNER'S GOLDFINGER has represented a wide range of designers including ready-to-wear, haute couture, handknit, leather, millinery, jewelry, wearable art and fine furnishings. We service men, women and children, including the full figure woman.

TDG has an outstanding private clientele who are faithful to the TDG designer lines. Mertine Elizabeth Moore Brown, founder, is a nationally acclaimed model with 35 years of fashion experience. She is a former Wilhelmina Models nternational. Mertine has also worked with Essence Magazine as a fashion stylist. THE DESIGNER'S GOLDFINGER has garnered respect in this industry through promoting moral values in its models and showcasing designer garments that honor talented designers.
